The Managing Director, Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority, Mr. Emmanuel Jime, has approved the redeployment of general managers at the authority’s head office.
He has also made new key appointments, according to a statement on Sunday by the Head of Corporate Communications, NEPZA, Mr. Simon Imobo-Tswam.
The statement said the changes were targeted at repositioning the authority, refocusing its management and enhancing service-delivery.
The redeployments and appointments at NEPZA’s headquarters are part of the general changes at the organisation aimed at repositioning the authority and incentivising the workers across board for maximum productivity.
According to the statement, those affected by the redeployment are Mr. Bitrus Dawuk, formerly GM, enforcement and compliance, now heads the finance department; Mr. Oyesola Oyekunle, formerly the GM, zones, now GM, zones operations (public); and Mr. Mu’azu Ruma, formerly head of the Lagos Zonal Office, now the GM, zones operations (private), among others.
