When it was first revealed that Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari would work from home on resumption after a 104-day medical vacation, people didn’t really pay attention. It is okay to work from home as long as the work is done.
But when revelations came that the president was forced out of the office by rats that invaded the office while he was away, Nigerians think something is definitely wrong.
Many hold that it was a major dent on the country’s image. Others blame the president’s communications handlers for revealing such a ‘dirty secret.’ Are the handlers only been honest? Is it a mistake? It may never come to lime light.
Whatever it is, Nigerians are not taking the case lightly. Many have taken to the social media to air their views about the ‘rats incident’
Here are some of comments and memes humoring the situation.
If you are wondering why the rats in your city have reduced, wonder no more. They have all relocated to seek greener pastures at @AsoRock!
