Man shot dead in Paris airport after snatching soldier's gun

Just few hours after a female officer was shot in the head in a northern Paris suburb during a routine stop-and-search operation, a convicted criminal with links to radical Islam has been shot dead at Paris Orly airport after snatching a soldier's gun and fleeing into a McDonald's.

This is coming after the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge who are in Paris on a visit, met with victims of terrorism.

It was gathered that the shooting in Stains, where three officers were
shot at, was carried out by the 39-year-old man, who was later killed after fleeing the scene.

It was also gathered that the man who has not been formally identified, had previously been jailed for drug trafficking and was radicalised in prison, according to reports in Paris. It was also alleged that he stole a woman's car at gunpoint.
