The president met with the permanent secretaries few minutes ago.
At the meeting were Chief of Staff to the President Abba Kyari and the Head of Civil Service of the Federation.
It was gathered that no fewer than 17 of the permanent secretaries were affected.
This is coming ahead of the swearing-in of the ministers-designate scheduled for tomorrow.

According to Presidency source, who preferred not to be named, the affected permanent secretaries were those who were senior to the Acting Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Winifred Ekanem Oyo-Ita.
