According to INEC in Imo state, People's Democratic Party has no candidate. This is as a result of the deputy speaker of the house of representatives, Hon. Ihedioha being embroiled in a tussle of the results of the PDP gubernatorial primaries with the other contestants – which included the former governor of Imo State, Ikedi Ohakim and another stakeholder in the party, Mazi Ararume.
