Revered South African disc jockey and music producer is the latest member of the Sony Music Africa.
As revealed on his Instagram page the super music producer has joined a ‘new home’ with the African wing of global music company Sony.
The new record deal is believed to boost the presence of the ace DJ and music maker across the continent of Africa.
During a press release after signing the dea
l, DJ Maphorisa said “I’m looking forward to working closely with a strong team on my upcoming releases. We have big plans and I’m excited to see them all come together”.
The DJ is best known for co-producing Drake’s Billboard Number one hit song ‘One Dance’ which features Nigerian pop superstar Wizkid.
