There is no denying that Quavo is the most famous member of Migos but there is a lot more to him than just that. Stats make it clear that his star power has helped songs become hits and that explains why he’s so sought after.
His latest contribution is to the song ‘Strip That Down‘ by former One Direction Liam Payne which has moved to number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week. With this, Quavo now has four top 10 singles on the prestigious chart as a solo artist this year and five if we include ‘Bad & Boujee’ which topped the chart back in January.
The Atlanta rapper therefore, has the highest number of top 10 singles this year so far, more than any artist across all genres. His previous top 10s have been DJ Khaled’s ‘I’m The One’ (peak #1), Post Malone’s ‘Congratulations’ (peak #8) and Drake’s ‘Portland’ (peak #8). This should be enough to convince him and his team to put out a solo album but only time will tell if he’s ready to take that route. Quavo is also expected to be featured on Nicki Minaj’s upcoming single ‘For Keeps’.
