4 other passengers also died in the accident when the Young Shall Grow bus somersaulted multiple times on the expressway.
The deceased elder brother said she was taken to the Teaching Hospital in Ile-Ife but doctors being on strike she did not receive adequate care thus leading to her death.
Mercy reportedly died from internal bleeding on Thursday, September 7, at about 3:00 a.m. She was buried on Sunday, September 10th in Amainyi-Ukwu LGA, Ihitte Uboma, Imo state. RIP!
