After 12 weeks of competition, Idyl of Team Timi Dakolo takes home the trophy and star prize. The competition took a surprising turn as the contestants the coaches thought would get to the top 4 did not get there.
With over 10 million votes cast for season 2 of Voice Nigeria Season, Daniel Diongoli, popularly known as Idyl won it. Ebube of team Patoranking came 2nd.
The final live show of the competition, had 8 contestants which include; Symeca, Idyl, Jade X, Jahtell, Wow, Ebube, Chris Real, Yimika as finalist, with Ebube and Idyl finishing as finalists.
The Voice Nigeria Season 2 Premiered on 18 June with voice coaches, Patoranking, Timi Dakolo, Waje and Yemi Alade .
