Signed to Taylor Gang, Juicy J has really relied heavily and remained true to the mixtape format, in between limited album offerings. He just released Gas Face in May, and equally, released two mixtapes in 2016. It’s been four years since he dropped Stay Trippy though, although he did release a joint effort (Rude Awakening) with Wiz Khalifa and TM88 last year, we’ve been waiting for Rubba Band Business all the same.
The album was originally titled THC: The Hustle Continues, with the name-change coming about in August of last year (to give you some perspective). To help with the wait, enter, Highly Intoxicated. Juicy J has been heavy on socials teasing his various studio sessions and collaborations, which span from up-and-comers like the SuicideBoys to rapper-of-the-moment like Cardi B.
