1. Ademola Adeleke was born in Enugu where he spent his early years with the family of Senator Ayoola Adeleke and Esther Adeleke.
2. Ademola is the younger brother of the Late Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke and father to a popular musician, B-Red. He’s also related to singer Davido’s father, Adedeji Adeleke.
3. Ademola Adeleke started his political career in 2007 along with his late brother, Isiaka who died in April 2017.
4. He was a member of the APC just a month before the bye-election, but had to dump the party for the PDP, when he suspected that he wasn’t going to be picked in the primaries. He finally won the Senatorial bye-election, defeating his closest opponent, Mudashiru Hussein of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
5. He is now known as the “Dancing senator” following his victory.
