Spanish giants, Atletico Madrid, are set to intervene in the Diego Costa exile issue as they have asked the striker to resolve the stalemate with his current club Chelsea.
Costa, who is currently back home in Brazil having been told that he is not in Antonio Conte’s plans, had claimed he has been treated, ‘like a criminal.’
The Spain international has refused to return to Cobham this summer and saw his transfer request fail in the closed transfer window last Thursday..
Costa rejected all other offers from clubs revealing he want to re-unite back with Atletico Madrid
According to reports, Diego Costa has now been advised by his desired Club Atletico Madrid to end his Chelsea exile and return to help push through a January move back to the Spanish capital.
Atletico believe that a January transfer would be far easier to pull off if Costa returned to London and
attempted a reconciliation with his current club..
