The Atlanta rapper stars in the ad along with a bunch of other big names like 21 Savage, Playboi Carti, James Harden, and Kendall Jenner. But the reason why everyone is talking about the ad today is because of Young Thug who wore a dress. The sports wear brand always find a way to tap into some influential tastemakers in hip hop which is a strong supporter of the brand.
Just earlier this year Adidas enlist Snoop Dogg, Madeintyo, and Desiigner for its “ORIGINAL Is Never Finished” ad campaign and that campaign was well received. Now they manages to get everybody talking going into the fall thanks on part to Young Thug. “We recreate(d) our original film to prove that #ORIGINALis never finished,” Adidas said. “When something is pushed far enough, it becomes original again.” The ad campaign also featured an interesting take of Frank Sinatra’s classic “My Way.”
