Shortly after meeting leaders of the Peoples’ Democratic Party and the ruling All Progressives Congress at the Presidential villa, President Muhammadu Buhari met with governos from the 36 states.
His fiece critic, Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose and his Gombe State counterpart, Ibrahim Dankwambo were noticeably absent.
Buhari in the meeting with party leaders acknowledged the presence of the opposition. He said it does not mean “hostility, enmity or antagonism. Democracy needs opposition, one which is vibrant but responsible.”
