A hit-and-run driver on Saturday morning, August 12, killed one Comrade Chidi, a Peoples Democratic Party youth leader in Imo State.
The deceased’s friend, friend and PDP member, Emmanuel Olorunmagba, shared the sad story online.
He wrote;
“ON A SAD NOTE: WE LOST A GREAT WARRIOR, CHIDI, IN BATTLE FRONT!
Oh God! This is very pathetic. We lost a great warrior just at the heat of the battle!
Comrade Chidi, a dedicated youth leader from Ezinihitte Mbaise LGA of Imo State was knocked down in the early hours of yesterday, Saturday, 12th August, 2019 in Wuse after arriving Abuja from Imo State for the PDP Non-elective National Convention and he died as the driver escaped.
He left behind a pregnant wife and his aged mother amongst others.
Oh death where is thy sting?
Oh Chidi, we assure you that your death for our beloved country, your death for our great party will never go in vain!
