Paga, Nigeria’s pioneering payments and digital financial services company, has empowered over 12,000 entrepreneurs, says a report.
In 2016, Paga joined the United Nations Development Programme, Business Call to Action, with a pledge to expand its network of local entrepreneurs to 40,000 across the country.
The General Manager, Paga, Arike Okunowo, said, “Our target is to be Nigeria’s fastest-growing and most active agent network. Watching the network grow over the years has been a fulfilling experience.
He said, “While it is growing, our mission remains unchanged – to transform lives by delivering innovative and universal access to financial services.
“We will continue to grow this network to empower businesses and create immense value for ordinary citizens who are desirous of making payments without hassles.”
