An ‘agbero’ identified only as Koko has barely escaped alive after he was beaten mercilessly by suspected cultists.
Koko who is notorious for extorting money from motorists and cyclists at Amuogodo Mudiagha area in Okirighwre junction, Sapele, Delta state was attacked while trying to flag down a driver yesterday night around 11pm when some men numbering about five attacked him.
His wallet was taken away from him and left in pains. His eyes was swollen and was left almost unrecognizable.
