The National Insurance Commission has approved the appointment of Mr. Polycarp Didam as the substantive managing director/chief executive officer of UnityKapital Assurance Plc.
According to a statement by the firm, Didam is a thoroughbred insurance professional with membership of numerous esteemed professional bodies.
He is an associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria; a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management; the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria; and the Institute of Directors.
He is also an alumnus of the Lagos Business School; Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi; and the University of Lagos.
He also holds an MBA degree (Management) from the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi and Master’s degree in Managerial Psychology from the University of Lagos.
With quality experience in life and general business marketing, insurance broking services, risk and advisory services, he brings to bear over two decades of exemplary leadership in the industry.
The firm said he had worked in leading companies and broking firms in the insurance industry including Industrial and General Insurance, AXA Mansard Insurance Plc, and was also a one-time managing director/chief executive officer of Guinea Insurance Plc and Fin Insurance Company Limited.
