Kelechi Iheanacho’s debut for Leicester City ended on a sour note, as he suffered a minor injury blow after just 17 minutes.
The Super Eagles forward who only completed his £25million move to the King Power Stadium a day before.
He was summoned from the bench in the 66th minute to replace Shinji Okazaki, as they defeated the Bundesliga side 2-1.
Iheanacho laid on an assist eight minutes later, finding Jamie Vardy who scored the winner, before he picked up a knock.
Manager Craig Shakespeare will be hoping to have the 21-year-old fit, for their Premier League opener against Arsenal next Friday.
