According to Nasser Al-Khelaifi, he will speak directly to Arsene Wenger should the French club wish to sign Alexis Sanchez this summer.
The Ligue 1 giants sealed a world record move for Barcelona forward Neymar on Thursday and they will likely need to sell before bringing in any new faces.
Al-Khelaifi told Sky Sports;
‘If I want Alexis Sanchez I’m going to talk to Arsene Wenger,’
‘We have respect for Arsenal [and have] excellent relations.’
Sanchez, 28, has less than a year to run on his existing deal at the Emirates and is believed to be keen on leaving the Gunners. Arsene Wenger, though, remains adamant that Sanchez will not be sold this summer.
