Senator Ben Bruce has joined in the criticising the decision of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to reduce the cut off mark of students seeking University admission.
The Bayelsa senator said it was silly for JAMB to reduce cut off marks to stop Nigerian students from going abroad.
‘Why We Reduced Cut-Off Marks’ – JAMB
See his tweets below;
1-It is silly for @JAMBHQ to say they reduced cut off marks to stop Nigerians going abroad. Only Increased education funding will stop that.

2-If @JAMBHQ reduces cut off mark and govt doesn’t increase spaces available in universities we only create problems instead of solving them
— Ben Murray-Bruce (@benmurraybruce) August 28, 2017
3-As long as the FG has not increased the capacity of our universities to absorb more intake, reducing cut off marks won’t have any effect!
