The Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State has announced that the university would use 180 as cut off mark for candidates seeking admission into the institution for 2017/2018 session as against the 120 mark announced by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) last week.
The Registrar of the institution, Mr Sunday Ayeerun in a statement said the university Post UTME exercise would be held between September 13th and 30th 2017.”
Those who made or are willing to make Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, their choice of University in the 2017/2018 UTME and scored 180 and above; and Direct Entry candidates who chose or are willing to make AAUA their first choice of University,” a part of the statement said.
Ayeerun further said that the registration for the exercise would commence August 28 ,2017 with payment of N2,000 for assessment fee,and N3,500 covering administrative, handling and bank charges.JAMB,after the policy meeting last week, had announced 120 cut off mark for admission into universities and 100 for polytechnics admission.
The Minister of Education also said the university would not be allowed to conduct Post UTME exercise for a fee not more than N2,000 .
