Chief Mutiu, was yesterday, Wednesday at about 9 AM kidnapped by unknown gunmen..
According to PM News, he was said to be in a vehicle with another person when three gunmen intercepted the vehicle and ordered the other man to alight from the vehicle and took him away.
The Baale’s whereabouts are still unknown as at press time today (Thursday).
Sources said that efforts to get the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Famous Cole, to confirm the kidnap proved abortive, as he couldn’t pick any of the calls made to his mobile number.
However, it was gathered that there had been dispute over the ‘obaship’ stool at Shangisha of which Ogundare is one of the contestants, although no one knows if this is in any way connected to the Baale’s kidnap.
