Antalyaspor are in talks with Arsenal over a move for Jack Wilshere, the Turkish club have confirmed, according to Skysports.
Wilshere, who has 12 months left on his current Arsenal deal, was the subject of an initial £6m offer from Serie A club Sampdoria last week.
Antalyaspor president Ali Ozturk has now revealed his interest in bringing the midfielder to the Turkish Super Lig, but Arsenal’s demands may prove a stumbling block.
“We made an enquiry and are in talks but Arsenal want a lot for Wilshere,” he said.
“It will be a difficult move to pull off.”
Wilshere spent last season on loan at Bournemouth but was forced to return to the Gunners early after fracturing his leg against Tottenham in April.
