Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, has said that the convention of the All Progressives Congress across the local government areas in the state will be all-inclusive.
The convention is for the purpose of electing delegates to the upcoming non-elective national congress of the party.
The state’s Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Dayo Adeneye, said in a statement that Amosun gave the assurance while receiving members of the state’s congress committee from the APC National Secretariat in Abuja.
During the visit which held on Thursday, Amosun said no bona fide member of the party would be sidelined during the exercise, stating that the party would not discriminate against anyone based on their gender or physical condition.
In his remark, the committee chairman, Mr. Bashiru Sheriff, called for unity among the members, adding that accreditation would take place first, after which three delegates would be elected from each local government area.
He also called on party members to give at least a slot for women in each local government area.
