Jack Wilshere is fighting to be fit for Arsenal’s pre-season tour.
The England midfielder has been recovering from a broken leg suffered in April while on loan at Bournemouth.
He underwent intensive rehabilitation, before getting married earlier this month.
Arsenal players are due to report back for training on Monday, before the firs match Down Under on July 13. Wilshere is hoping he can be part of manager Arsene Wenger’s plans for the trip to Australia and China.
The 25-year-old’s future at the Emirates remains uncertain, with only one year left on his contract.
