Pregnant Teenager Dropped Twice By Paramedics As She's Transported From Ambulance To Hospital. Photos

A shocking clip shows how paramedics carrying a pregnant teenager dropped her twice as they tried to get her out of the ambulance. The 16-year-old patient was being lifted from the ambulance on a stretcher in order to be moved into hospital for treatment.

As the stretcher is taken from the ambulance, one of the medics loses her grip and the stretcher topples, meaning the semi-conscious teenager falls sideways onto the tarmac.

Then the medics set up the legs of the stretcher to transport the teen into hospital - but they collapse, meaning the girl falls onto the floor again.

They finally manage to get the bed set up correctly and get the teenager into the hospital.

The upsetting scene was filmed by a witness at El Carmen hospital, in the city of Huancayo, Peru.

Local media reported that the young mum had been waiting inside the ambulance for more than 40 minutes because medical staff had refused to attend her despite her serious condition.

However, Mr Acosta denied these allegations and said that the patient was treated according to protocol.
