Lagos state government demolishes market in Ikorodu overnight leaving traders distraught

Traders in Sabo market, Ikorodu, were greeted by a heartbreaking sight as they arrived their place of business this morning to find that their shops had been demolished the night before. The demolition was reportedly carried out by the Lagos state government on the night of May 3rd, after the traders had closed for the day. Sahara reporters shared a video of the scene this morning,
