Update On Violence In Lagos: RRS Arrests Armed Suspects

Violence broke out in the Mushin area of Lagos today. Following the fracas that led to the looting and setting ablaze of some stores in the Idi Oro area of Mushin, operatives of Rapid Response Squad stormed the streets and were able to arrest 8 suspects in connection to the violence.

According to the RRS, the suspects were chased to the inner streets where they were apprehended with machetes and axes. More photos...

The RRS disclosed that some residents confirmed that the arrested suspects are gang members.
