Photo: 24K gold of Darth Vader mask up for $1.4M in Japan

Ahead of 'Star Wars' 40th anniversary, Japanese jeweler Tanaka Kikinzoku has unveiled a 24 karat gold sculpture of Darth Vader, one of the fictional character in the Star Wars franchise. According to Japan Times, the 15kg (33 pounds) statue of the iconic sci-fi villain will sell at a hefty $1.4 million and will be available to purchase in Japan on May 4, being the 'Star Wars' Day.
