A British tourist has died after jumping naked from the window of a hotel above a strip club in Thailand. Christopher Laidler, 31, had been at a gogo bar on notorious Walking Street in Pattaya, during the country’s Songkran New Year celebrations.

He then left and went up to one of the rooms at ‘Walking Street Guest House’ on the third floor above the Sweetheart Agogo club.

But at 4.30am horrified passers-by saw him leap naked from the third floor window.

Christopher, from Leeds, West Yorks landed on the pavement. Paramedics tried to revive him but he died on the way to hospital.

Police in the crime-ridden city - which had been making desperate efforts to clean up its image - are now investigating.
