20-year-old girl who was impregnated by her father, throws her baby into a well in Bauchi

A 20-year-old girl who has been identified as Dije Abdulkadir, was arrested by Police detectives, attached to Gamawa Police Division in Bauchi State, on 24th Mach 2017, for allegedly throwing her new born baby into a well, with an intent to kill her.

It was gathered that the baby girl was however saved, by well meaning neighbours who
were around during the incident.

Upon interrogation, Dije, disclosed that she decided to kill the baby because she was born after her 55-year-old biological father impregnated her.

The two suspects have been charged to court for the crime, and will be duly prosecuted.
