We’ve heard especially in africa and some other parts of the world, that at the onset of any business that requires large number of people for direct patronage, some business owners which nowadays include religious organisations go to the extent of burying animals alive with the belief that as the animal dies and decays, producing millions of maggots underneath; so also millions of people/customers shall be trooping to the place for patronage.
This story confirms the above when some market women at oke odo area of lagos state nigeria decided to bury a live pig in the market apparently to improve their sales.
Meanwhile we have it on good authority that a massive hotel proprietor in south west nigeria outside lagos buried about sixteen live pigs secretly during the foundation of the massive (then popular) hotel still under investigation.
Though the said hotel had been put on sale twice due to poor performance with no one coming up to buy it because of its wrong location.
Also a church in enugu state nigeria was recently exposed when two corpses of human beings were exhumed from a freshly made foundation.
The question now is that;does it really work? is it normal to bury human beings or animals for one to excel in his/her business?
How do we expect god to answer our prayer in this kind of society?
