FC Rostov coach Kurban Berdyev has revealed what the mysterious gift he received from Jose Mourinho was. The Manchester United boss sparked interest when he was pictured handing over a black box to the away dressing room prior to his side's Europa League second leg at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils went on to win the tie 1-0 and progressed to the quarter-finals thanks to a 70th minute Juan Mata goal.
But since the clash, the contents of the box have been shrouded in mystery... until now.
FC Rostov posted a picture of the gift online, revealing it to be a small Europa Cup replica with a Manchester United badge engraved into the front.
The image was posted with the comment: "Inside the black box from Jose Mourinho was this super-cool keepsake!"
Mourinho and Berdyev go way back having first met when Inter Milan took on Rubin Kazan in the group stages of the 2009/10 Champions League.
