A video of an alleged drunk policeman in Zambia has viral gone viral online. In the video footage posted online, a man wearing a police uniform appears to be intoxicated. The police officer is seen aiming his weapon at a party member of parliament Garry Nkombo and demanding to search his car.

The police man argued at length with the woman who was taking the video.

Meanwhile, Zambia Police Service Spokesperson Mrs Esther Mwaata Katongo says, “it is true that the officer looked drunk. However, what he was saying that an officer can search any motor vehicle or vessel he or she suspects is correct. The other advice is that you don’t confront a person who has a fire arm like that. It is dangerous.”
