Manchester United will be without these SEVEN stars for West Brom clash

Mourinho will potentially be without seven key names for the Old Trafford meeting between the two sides. Manchester United are facing an injury crisis ahead of their Premier League clash with West Bromwich Albion this weekend. Jose Mourinho will potentially be without seven key names for the Old Trafford meeting between the two sides. The Baggies travel to Manchester after beating Arsenal at the Hawthorns last time out. And Tony Pulis will be buoyed by the news United are facing a personnel crisis as they look to keep alive their hopes of securing a top-four finish. The Red Devils are currently without injured quartet Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Marouane Fellaini and Paul Pogba. Ander Herrera and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, meanwhile, are suspended. Even more worryingly for the Old Trafford faithful, Wayne Rooney has been out with a knee injury for the past three weeks and there is no guarantee he will be fit by Saturday. But Mourinho may be forced to rush the 31-year-old back to plug a gap in midfield, with the enforced loss of Pogba, Fellaini and Herrera leaving him light there. Michael Carrick remains Mourinho’s only fit central midfielder, a position Rooney may have to occupy on Saturday if he is fit and able to start. United face a hectic April with games against West Brom, Everton, Sunderland, Anderlecht, Chelsea, Burnley, Manchester City and Swansea. Mourinho’s side are currently fifth, four points behind fourth-placed Liverpool, with two games in hand on their arch rivals. Furthermore, the Red Devils have eight players not yet done with their countries. Eric Bailly will represent the Ivory Coast in their friendly with Senegal tonight before Matteo Darmian and Daley Blind are on opposite sides for Italy versus the Netherlands tomorrow. David de Gea and Ander Herrera could feature for Spain in their friendly in France while Marcos Rojo and Sergio Romero prepare for another World Cup qualifier in Bolivia on Tuesday evening. Antonio Valencia's Ecuador host Colombia in a World Cup qualifier in Quito tomorrow night.
