Dad Bursts Into Tears After Being Arrested While Trying To Meet A 14-Year-Old Girl. Photos

A suspected pervert was reduced to tears after he was confronted by angry vigilantes over allegations he drove 150 miles to meet a 14-year-old girl. The man, 24, was ambushed by four paedophile hunters in a McDonald's car park after he was accused of driving from Dorset to Hereford to abuse the fictional teenager.

The vigilantes blocked his car doors, grabbed his keys and phone and branded him a "dirty little nonce" in a 20-minute video posted on Facebook.

Dad-of-three David Poole, who claimed he posed as the underage girl for the sting, said to the man: "There's no 14-year-old girl. Me. You were talking to me, mate." "You're a dirty little nonce," he continued. "You're a paedophile who's come to Hereford to rape a child."

The man, who said he had a young child, insisted he thought the girl was 18 and added he "just wanted to talk to her".

But the vigilantes replied they had messages which showed the man arranged to buy condoms, sent explicit pictures and told the girl he wanted to share a bath with her.

At one point the suspected pervert is heard saying: "Mate, I'm f ***** up. I've got a lot of problems at the moment."

The 24-year-old breaks down in tears when police were called and lead him away in handcuffs.

A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "A 24-year-old man from Dorset has been arrested on suspicion of attempting to meet a girl under 16 years of age following grooming. "He has been released on police bail until April."
