Body of a suspected fulani herdsman found hanging on a tree in Bauchi

A man alleged to be a Fulani herdsman was found hanging on a tree today in Bauchi.

The yet to be identified man, who was rushed to  General hospital Zaki, Bauchi State, was certified dead on arrival, after police detectives and the DPO of Zaki police division were led to the forest at Lariye Village in Zaki LGA of Bauchi State, where he was found dangling on a tree with a rope tied to his neck.

It was gathered that no suicide note was left, nor was there any visible sign of
struggle at
the scene. His body has been deposited at the mortuary for autopsy as police are still investigating the cause of his death.
