He Speaks Yoruba Fluently
Adewale Adeyemo was born to Yoruba parent who migrated from Nigeria to Southern California in the USA. His dad, a school principal in Cali, is so connected to his roots that he was a former President of Egbe Omo Yoruba of Southern California and ensured that his kids were brought up to confirm. America’s Deputy NSA, Adewale speaks Yoruba without an accent.
Tipped as most likely to succeed in High School
Adewale Adeyemo attended Eisenhower High School Class of 1999. Going through the year book, he was featured in the most likely to succeed corner. Alas!
Passionate Activist and Early Leader
Adewale Adeyemo was the Region 11 president of the California association of Student Councils, he was also an active member of several groups and advocacy causes. Lest we forget, this year 2015, he won the Mark Bingham Award for Excellence in Achievement by a Young Alumnus.
