Alhaji Attahiru Bafarawa, former Sokoto State governor has allegedly confessed like AIT’s Chairman, Rahmond Dokpesi that he got just N4.6billion from the former National Security Adviser, Colonel Sambo Dasuki out of the $2.1billion arms fund for spiritual purpose to facilitate former President Goodluck Jonathan’s reelection Campaign,Famous Magazine reported
Famous Magazine reported thus; “Former governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Attahiru Bafawara has started speaking in tongues on his involvement in the N60billion arms scandal rocking the former National Security adviser, Col. Sambo Dasaki’s office.”
“Insiders at EFCC squealed to us that the politician confessed that he collected N4.6billion from the former National Security adviser’s office for spiritual purposes. Nigerians now want the politician to name all the Imams, Alfas and pastors he gave the N4.6billion to.”
Apart from Dokpesi, source in the EFCC also confirmed to Sahara Reporters that a convicted PDP Chieftain in Lagos state, Chief Olabode George and former governor Peter Odili of Rivers State also got N100million each from the arms fund.
