In what could be described as prearranged screening, the Nigerian Senate has just asked the wife of one of their colleagues, Khadija Bukar Abba Ibrahim to take a bow and go.

Dramatically, Senator Bukola Saraki asked the ministerial nominees’ husband, who is also a seating senator, Sen. Bukar Abba Ibrahim to ask his wife the first screening question. The question which the nominees’ husband asked his wife was that, what would be her reaction if the senate ask her to just take a bow and go? The senate went into loud laughter, which was ended by the Senate President’s declaration that the nominee should take her bow and go.
