In his usual exuberance and dictatorial style, the governor threatened the workers after tongue lashing them, several of the workers took the unusual step of prostrating to beg the governor so as to save their job. It is the most inhuman and degrading treatment meted out to Nigerian workers since the advent of democracy in 1999.
