Nigerian soldiers have recorded another important victory in the fight against Boko Haram insurgency.The soldiers have succeeded in the arrest of more Boko Haram terrorists and also reopened a mixed Primary School in Gwoza, Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno.This has helped in the promotion of returnees and other Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) with education of their children.The military achieved this fate on September 17,2015.
The reopening of the combined Primary School in Gwoza is important as the eradication of western education is one of the goals of Boko Haram sect.
Also the troops have also captured Boko Hararm terrorists from Dissa and Balazala villages situated in the same Gwoza Local Government Area. 23 men, 33 women and 34 children were rescued from Boko Haram during the process. In addition to this,Nigerian troops advancing from Bama have also intercepted some Boko Haram members fleeing from Dara Jamel near Banki the battle zone disguised as Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).The suspects are currently being interrogated by troops of 21 Brigade.
