It’s the question on everyone’s lips: how many iPhones does it take to stop a bullet fired from an AK-74 assault rifle?
Testing the durability of the iPhone, and seeing whether it is capable of saving a life, the team line up eight handsets and lock and load.
The tester from the YouTube channel lines up the phones and fires at them with the assault rifle
The tester predicts that the bullet, which can travel at up to 2,900 feet per second, will deflect upon impact

Fired from the gun is a steel core bullet, which the tester explains can travel at up to 2,900 feet per second, and will therefore obliterate the first couple of phones.
Filming on a regular camera – one that does no possess slow motion capabilities – the team get started and fire at the phones for the first time.
Travelling through four iPhones, the bullet lands in the screen of the fifth and interestingly appears to create more damage to the handsets the further it travels.

He then picks up the sixth phone in his hand – the screen of which is smashed – and proves that it still works.
The video concludes with the tester annihilating the phones with a shotgun.
And then further destroying the remains with the AK-74.
