Following the unending crisis rocking the ruling All Progressives Congress due to the leadership tussle at the National Assembly, the estranged party member and Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki has responded to the letter sent to him by his party’s leadership about the party’s choices of the senate principal’s officers.
The APC had written the Senate President nominating Senator Ahmad Lawan, George Akume among others as Senate Leader and Deputy Senate leader respectively. But Saraki, yesterday defied the party’s order and pronounced Ali Ndume from Yobe State and others against the party’s decision.Senate President Bukola Saraki in a letter dated 25th June replied Chief John-Oyegun-led National Working Committee of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC explaining why he refused to make the party’s candidates the principal officers, stating his hands are tight due to the Senate Standing rules
