Yakubu Dogara of the All Progressives Congress, has been elected Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives.
Dogara was chosen to head the House on Tuesday, June 9, 2015, after being nominated by Hon. Abdulmumin Jubrin.
Dogara scored 182 votes to defeat Femi Gbajabiamila, who had 174 votes.
