Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State has described the Transformation Agenda of President Goodluck Jonathan as a sham, saying despite all the hype poverty still pervades all parts of the country.
Speaking while commissioning the ultra-modern Pharmacology/Biochemistry building of the Medical School in Ekiti State University in Ado Ekiti, the governor charged President Goodluck Jonathan to remodel the programme with a view to meeting the hopes and aspirations of average Nigerians.

“This transformation agenda has not in any way reflected in the lives of Nigerians. There is poverty and wanton neglect everywhere you go. So what are we now transforming?
“Some of the members of TAN are those that benefited from the subsidy fund and who ought to be prosecuted and jailed. I am sure that all Progressives Congress, APC, will bring to bear more pragmatic agenda that would meet Nigerians’ yearnings."
