Yes oh! I offered to do this advert FREE for telecom giant Airtel Nigeria, so that you. . . Yes! You my darling readers can benefit! If i can't give big money, at least let me offer useful services na...lol...
*On that note, please if you have JOB VACANCIES, PROMO, FREE OFFERS or any thing of value to be publicized, that will benefit people and improve LIVES on this blog. . . Send it in. . . I will publish it for FREE. . .no "shi-shi" required! At least let the over 50k hits we get daily on this blog benefit readers positively. . .
Although it is called Airtel Android plan, personally i use it on my laptop (through my modem), and even on my non android phone. . .
This promo plan is similar to the popular Airtel blackberry 2+1 offer which allows customers to get free 4GB data plan with just N1,500, instead of 2GB data.
How the new Android promo data bundle works is it doubles your data. N2,000 which would have gotten you 2GB gets increased to 4GB and N3,500 which qualifies for 4.5GB gets doubled 9GB, both valid for 60 days instead of the usual 30days.
This promo plan is however not available to all Airtel lines. But not to worry when i had a similar issue with the Blackberry 2+1 plan, i called a customer care rep and explained my line hadn't been given the promo and she set it up. . . It might work for the android plan too.
First thing is to check if you're eligible to be offered the promo, before you load the required amount to your phone for the Android data plans.
To check for eligibility, Simply dial *437*1# for the Android bundle of 4GB for N2,000 or dial *438*1# for the Android bundle of 9GB for N3,500.
When you receive a message: "Dear customer, you do not have sufficient balance for this plan", it means your line is eligible for the offer. You can then
proceed with the loading of required amount to your account and suscribing with the code above, you used in checking your eligibility.
However, if after dialing the code, you get this message;
"Dear customer, you do not qualify for this plan",
It will not work for that line, but your normal andriod plan will work with the suscription codes *437# (N2,000 for 2GB) and *438# (N3,500 for 4.5GB).
To check your Android data balance, simply dial *223#.
I will be obliged to answer as many questions as i can, and forward those i can't to the necessary authority. . . Thanks, una welldone!.
