A Nigerian Senator and chairman of the Senate committee on Federal character, Awaisu Kuta is dead. He died on thursday in Abuja, the cause of his death still unknown. According to family members, plans are already on-going to bury him this evening according to Islamic rites.
He was a member of PDP, Senator Kuta assumed office as the Senator for the Niger East constituency of Niger State, on 29 May 2007. May his soul rest in peace…amen.
